Our Staff

Gary Knapp (Senior Minister), originally from Ohio, has been preaching at West Hills for the last 16 years. He was also youth minister here from 81-86. Gary loves football and walking/hiking. He has been married to Janice for 34 years. He loves his family and has a special place in his heart for his two grandsons, Cooper and Hayden.

Amy Mullins (Children's Ministry Director & Administrative Assistant) grew up at West Hills and originally came on staff as the church’s Administrative Assistant in 1999. Although she enjoyed serving in that position, she always felt God’s call to work with children. In 2007, she received the opportunity to become the Children’s Ministry director at West Hills, and has found no job more rewarding. Amy has been married for 10 years to Mike, who is a great help in her ministry. Mike and Amy feel blessed to have two wonderful sons, Dylan and Connor. She enjoys spending time with family, watching sports, making crafts, and eBaying.

Jamie Robinson (Youth Director) moved to Bristol with her husband Alex in 2008. Jamie graduated with a degree in Bible and Music from Kentucky Christian University and has a passion for helping Jr. and Sr. High students understand what it means to follow Jesus. Jamie enjoys movies, music, working on creative projects, and spending time together with her husband and their son, Will.

Alex Robinson (Worship Leader) moved to Bristol in 2008 after completing 3 years in campus ministry with the Ball State Christian Campus House in Muncie, IN. It was in this same year that Alex began graduate studies at the Emmanuel School of Religion in Johnson City, TN. Alex enjoys music, movies, walking/hiking, Mexican food, and spending time together with his wife Jamie, and their son, Will.
