What is WHY – West Hills Youth?

WHY – West Hills Youth is our student ministry designed to help teenagers build a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, grow in their understanding of God’s Word, and develop lifelong friendships with other believers. Through Bible study, fellowship, worship, and service opportunities, students are encouraged to live out their faith and discover their purpose in Christ.

Who can participate in West Hills Youth?

West Hills Youth is designed for middle school and high school students looking for a place to grow spiritually, connect with others, and strengthen their walk with Jesus. Whether you have grown up in church or are just beginning to explore your faith, you are welcome at WHY.

What types of activities does West Hills Youth participate in?

Our youth ministry includes Bible studies, group discussions, fellowship activities, special events, service projects, and opportunities to make a difference in our community. We believe faith grows when students not only learn about Jesus but actively follow His example by loving and serving others.

How does West Hills Youth help teenagers grow spiritually?

WHY helps students develop a strong foundation in Christ through Scripture, prayer, mentorship, and meaningful conversations about faith and life. Our goal is to help teenagers understand who Jesus is, build a personal relationship with Him, and develop a faith that continues growing into adulthood.

The mission of WHY – West Hills Youth is to introduce teenagers to Jesus Christ and our church's beliefs. This helps them develop a real, personal relationship with Him that guides every part of their lives. We are committed to creating a Christ-centered community where students can ask questions, study God’s Word, grow in their faith, and discover the purpose God has placed on their lives.

Through biblical teaching, fellowship, worship, and acts of service, we encourage students to put their faith into action and become the hands and feet of Jesus. By serving others, showing compassion, and living out the Gospel, our youth learn what it means to bear fruit for God’s Kingdom, building a foundation of faith, leadership, and service that will continue throughout their lives.=
